thz

opnwong 2018-8-25 09:05 PM

You could try "I am now ready for my Pancake."

Dessert Menu.

Interesting, I’ve never come across pancakes on the dessert menu before. Is it different from the typical breakfast pancakes? (Buttermilk, maple syrup, fruit jams...)

I consider crepe and pancake two different things though. Are they synonymous outside the US?

They are CERTAINLY two different things. Swedish pancakes are closer to crepe than pancakes, but I have NOT seen any place serving swedish pancakes as dessert.

BTW, crepe can be also savory. For example, a French cafe close to where i live have two crepe dishes for lunch.

BTW, crepe is a French word, not English but i suppose this forum does not care about the distinction?

I used to like their paella but they have drop ped it from their menu [/quote]
Paella, Spanish 煲仔飯. That expansive must needed ingredient Saffron, cost around US$30/per Gram.
A properly prepared paella for two, takes about 30 minutes and 1/3 to 1/2 Gram of saffron is required,
regardless whatever topping/s to be added.
You can make your own a decent paella by using a low cost rice cooker.
It is very similar to, if you have ever made one, making decent
