NaCl can exist as solid (Table salt). And at temp above the  boiling point (~1413C) you'll get neutral NaCl molecules and Na2Cl2 dimer or longer polymer.

You got to be more specific. If you are talking about mobile ions, then they exist most likely in aqueous phase as they can be stabilized via solvation.

Ions can also exist in solid or gas phase. However, ions in solids are immobilized. On the other hand, ions in gas phase are not stable and will quickly recombine with other ions or capture electron(s) to form neutral species.
